December 27th and 28th, 2013

Impromptu trip to the mountains.. We woke up yesterday morning and decided we wanted to do something fun with the kiddos.. by the time we were ready to get out of the house it was late to head towards Atlanta (always avoiding the crowds and traffic).. so Steven remembered about a little town north.. so we ran some errands and we headed to Helen, GA… What a gorgeous place.. we walked around, had lunch and decided to spend the night..  just like that, no extra clothes, no toothbrushes… so why not?.. we stayed, walked from the hotel to dinner in the little town lighted up with Christmas lights… soo pretty and just what I was needing to reboot from the holidays..

We woke up this morning and we headed to visit the Anna Ruby Falls.. a little hike in 30F weather.. but gorgeous!..

Vivian, didn’t want out of her stroller.. poor baby, her blanket was feeling good then.. 🙂

We are back home and relax and with new energy…

I’m so glad you found Helen. It’s such a wonderful little town. Be sure to make yourself a note to check out Cool River Tubing this summer. You can rent tubes to float down the Chattahoochee River. So much fun!
